How we tested Apple sub-ohm kit here
Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.91 per 10 ml.
Apple sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 12 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The short version: apple in Bristol works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a apple sub-ohm kit really costs in Bristol
If you are looking at apple in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the sub-ohm kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested apple in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Batch code and production date, so a apple bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where apple goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a sub-ohm kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
