What the label on Blackcurrant is allowed to say
Blackcurrant prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £3.0 per 10 ml.
Blackcurrant in Bristol reaches the shelf in sub-ohm kit formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: blackcurrant in Bristol works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a blackcurrant sub-ohm kit really costs in Bristol

How we tested blackcurrant in a sub-ohm kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every blackcurrant bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why blackcurrant tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing blackcurrant with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised £31 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.0 per 10 ml.
