Caramel in Bristol: 6 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
A caramel squonk mod from the budget options in Bristol costs about £1.93 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £1.93 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long caramel tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a caramel squonk mod really costs in Bristol
A caramel squonk mod from the budget options in Bristol costs about £1.93 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested caramel in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for caramel in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
