Graphite pen device Vape in Bristol: the best shortlist
Graphite in Bristol: 17 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What the label on Graphite is allowed to say
We run graphite the same way in Bristol: same pen device, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Graphite sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 17 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a graphite pen device really costs in Bristol
The honest read on graphite: 17 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested graphite in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a graphite bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Treating the advertised £40 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £1.82 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for graphite in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On graphite the budget price and the premium price can sit within £1.82 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
Why does graphite taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the graphite blend itself harsh.
How long does graphite in a pen device last?
In Bristol we measured 5 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
