Pear starter kit Vape in Bristol: the wholesale shortlist
Pear in Bristol: 19 units tested over 2 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What the label on Pear is allowed to say
Most people searching Vape in Bristol are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Pear prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.13 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear starter kit really costs in Bristol
Pear in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested pear in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where pear goes wrong
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised £29 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.13 per 10 ml.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for pear in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
