Sour box mod Vape in Bristol: the cheap shortlist
Sour in Bristol: 13 units tested over 5 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Choosing a box mod for sour
The honest read on sour: 13 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Sour box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 13 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour box mod really costs in Bristol
A sour box mod from the cheapest options in Bristol costs about £2.5 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested sour in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where sour goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in Bristol survives.
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for sour in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
Can I order Vape online in Bristol?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 2–4 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
