Tropical box mod Vape in Bristol: the guide shortlist
Tropical in Bristol: 9 units tested over 8 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Delivery, returns and what 2–4 business days really means
Tropical in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Tropical box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical box mod really costs in Bristol
A tropical box mod from the starter options in Bristol costs about £1.88 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested tropical in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
