Tropical pod kit Vape in Bristol: the flat shortlist
Tropical in Bristol: 8 units tested over 7 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Where buyers go wrong with tropical in Bristol
A tropical pod kit from the flat-rate options in Bristol costs about £2.52 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Tropical pod kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical pod kit really costs in Bristol
We run tropical the same way in Bristol: same pod kit, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested tropical in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised £30 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.52 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why tropical tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Bristol?
Yes, tracked to 2–4 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should tropical start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
