Tropical prefilled pod Vape in Bristol: the compare shortlist
Tropical in Bristol: 6 units tested over 5 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What the label on Tropical is allowed to say
The honest read on tropical: 6 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
A tropical prefilled pod from the compared options in Bristol costs about £3.52 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the prefilled pod you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical prefilled pod really costs in Bristol
Tropical sounds like one product. It is not: a prefilled pod running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested tropical in a prefilled pod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised £47 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £3.52 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should tropical start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a prefilled pod.
How long does tropical in a prefilled pod last?
In Bristol we measured 5 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a prefilled pod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £3.52 per 10 ml liquid plus £47 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
