How to tell a good squonk mod from a repack
Sourcherry squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 15 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
We run sourcherry the same way in Bristol: same squonk mod, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 15 units, squonk mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sourcherry squonk mod really costs in Bristol
If you are looking at sourcherry in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested sourcherry in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every sourcherry bottle shipped into Bristol.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where sourcherry goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised £49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £1.94 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does sourcherry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the sourcherry blend itself harsh.
How long does sourcherry in a squonk mod last?
In Bristol we measured 4 to 15 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On sourcherry the budget price and the premium price can sit within £1.94 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
